Mabel Sterns Newletter Award
I’m pleased to announce that the Austin Astronomical Society was awarded first place for this year’s Mabel Sterns Newsletter Award through the Astronomical League. This marks the third time our club has been honored with the award. The first was under editorship of Anne Adkins in 2003, and the second, Dana Koch in 2009.
The AAS members are remarkable, and it’s their contributions that make the newsletter what it is. Thank you to the members and guest Spotlight amateur astronomers for their willingness to share their expertise, articles, and images with the club! Also, thank you to the Astronomical League for their tremendous dedication to the astronomical community.
