Reiner gamma – 2005 04 21
Reiner Gamma (Rukl 28) is said to be a flat feature or crater formed of bright material that resembles a kite. I thought it looked more like a short wide necktie myself. It was pretty enough but had no distinct edges (hence the description flat, huh?); however with the white ridged edges and darker center, it did make a nice display next to Reiner. These two were named after Vincentio Reinieri, a 17th century Italian mathematician and follower of Galileo.
